Non Destructive Testing
Non Destructive Testing (NDT) is the process of inspecting, testing or evaluating materials, components or assemblies for discontinuities, or differences in characteristics without destroying the serviceability of the part or system.
Various inspection techniques could be employed for product testing which range from raw material to in-service damage inspection. Specific techniques are applied to different materials to assess cracking corrosion, fatigue and erosion/wear or heat damage.
UMC provides a pool of multi-skilled operators with internationally recognized certification ensuring the inspection is carried out to the client’s procedures and specification. Recognizing the need for cost effectiveness, we can provide multi–disciplined NDT technicians capable of carrying out the following:
- Magnetic Particle Inspections
- Ultrasonic Thickness Gauging
- Eddy Current Inspections
- Dye Penetrant Inspections
- Ultrasonic Flaw Detection
